Since moving back to New York, Ryan and I have been to two Broadway shows…well one is considered Off-Broadway, but still.
The first one we saw was Cats, a Broadway classic, which I cried through most of.
And the other one, A Clockwork Orange, we saw just this past Saturday.
If there’s one thing I know that will always be true about New York, beyond the bright lights of Broadway, is that this place has a creative energy like none other.
It’s true that the constant hustle and bustle can become frustrating and the curious smells that linger on the subway platforms can be nauseating. But I don’t think that I will ever get tired of the endless sources of inspiration and creation available, in this crazy city, at any hour on any day of the week.
Speaking of inspiration and creation, I’ve made something special for you that I’m so excited to share.
In this brand new workshop, I’ll be teaching you how to eliminate the FEAR, OVERWHELM and FRUSTRATION of recovery.
If you’re an Adult Child of an Alcoholic, new or newish to recovery and you’re not sure where or how to get started, in your recovery, this event is for you.
During this FREE workshop you’ll:
- Discover the most COMMON FEARS adult children of alcoholics face in recovery
- Learn how to quickly identify and DEAL WITH OVERWHELM when it shows up in your recovery
- Learn how to OVERCOME three of the biggest FRUSTRATIONS I’ve experienced in recovery. *I wish someone would’ve warned me about these when I first got started over a decade ago*
- Not only be INSPIRED but you’ll also have the CONFIDENCE you need to take the necessary next steps in your recovery

If you have any questions, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or pop them in the comment section below and I will be sure to answer as soon as humanly possible.
I should also mention that although I have great respect for 12-step programs, this workshop is not 12-step based. So the only things you need to attend is a curious and open mind and a desire to learn and grow:) All are welcome!
I hope you’ll be able to join me:)
Until next Tuesday,
P.S. I don’t have any other workshops in the calendar for this year but don’t worry as soon as I’ve got another one available, I will let you know.
P.P.S. If you have an ACOA friend or family member that might be interested in this workshop share this info with them. I bet they’ll appreciate that you did!
